We want every woman to be able to use this website with ease — whatever device, browser, or assistive technology she relies on. Here's our commitment, what we've done, and how to reach us.
Altavida Gynecology is committed to making our website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. Accessibility is part of how we practice care — unhurried, personal, and built around you — and we extend that same intention to the digital front door of our practice.
We treat accessibility as a baseline of every page we build, not a fix applied afterward, and we review it as the site grows.
We measure our website against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA — the standard widely recognized by regulators and the courts. "Partially conformant" means most of the site meets the standard, with a small number of known exceptions we are actively addressing.
Measures already built into the website include:
Despite our efforts, some areas may not yet be fully accessible. We're aware of the following and are working to improve them:
We combine automated checks (such as axe and Lighthouse) with manual review — keyboard-only navigation, screen-reader testing, and checks at high zoom and narrow widths. No automated tool catches everything, so your real-world feedback matters and shapes what we fix next.
Did you run into a barrier on this site, or need information in a different format? Tell us — we treat accessibility problems as a priority and aim to respond within two business days.
When you write, it helps to include the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you were using — but a quick note in your own words is always welcome.
